YOU CAN APPLY FOR A VISA, BUT IT WILL MOST LIKELY BE REFUSED AND WILL COST LESS THEN 100 DOLLARS. IF YOU WANT TO PAY FOR A PLANE TICKET, BUY THE TICKET YOURSELF AND THE LADY CAN PICK IT UP AT HER LOCATION, IF SHE REFUSES THIS OFFER SHE IS A SCAMMER. (Personal Note: Scamming is not limited to foreign women, my son met a lady(Tracy) online who lived in Texas. He talked with her daily and talked with her mother and grandmother. This went on for a few months and then he went on sea duty (he was in the Navy). When they got to Hawaii for a bit of R and R, he decided it would be a great place for Tracy to come and meet him and have a good vacation together. He called her and she agreed, called him back with the price for a round trip ticket and he sent her the money western union. Two days later he was waiting for her plane, the plane came but no girlfriend. He was really frantic with worry wondering what had happened to her, he called her mother, she said Tracy had left to see him(my son) and that she must have missed a flight, so he waited till the next morning but still no Tracy. He called her mother back and now she was frantic, and told him she would go to Tracy's apartment and check to see if she could be there. The mother called my son back in about an hour, telling him she had gone and found receipts on the table for tires and other things for Tracy's car and a number of a man in Colorado. My son called the number and asked for Tracy and she was there and simply told him she figured he owed her the money for all the time she had spent talking with him and hung up. BE CAREFUL SCAMMERS ARE WORLD WIDE.
It is almost impossible for a Russian Lady to obtain a visa to come to the United States on her own so don't send money for them to come, as they most likely do not have a visa to get here. Even if they send you a copy of a visa, it could be a fraud. After I had corresponded with my Lena for some time, we decided we wanted to meet, and she did try to get a visa. I did send her some money to cover the costs involved with this (it was around 80-100 dollars as I remember) and I had to send a letter of invitation for her to show the embassy, giving dates of arrival and departure and my promise to see she did return to her country. But she did not get a visa - it is very rare for one to be issued. I had to go there and meet her in person and then make a fiancée visa application for her after I returned home to the USA. Do not send money to anyone you have not met in person or have corresponded with long enough (like 6 months to a year) to be very sure they are being honest!!!!!!).
